One of most popular member benefits are the CNBAM listservs, an electronic discussion forum for members to discuss issues of mutual interest. There is a general listserv that is open to all advisers and student leaders at CNBAM member newspapers. There is also a student-only listserv that is limited to students.
There are no vendors, national rep firms or non-members allowed on either listserv. The lists exist to provide an open forum for discussion of any issues students and professionals at CNBAM member newspaper wish to discuss. Past topics have included the newspaper readership program, staffing structures, compensation and much more.
This is an unmoderated discussion list. Therefore, any messages sent to the list will be distributed directly from the sender to everyone on the list. No one reviews the messages before distribution.
